[dc]It was almost a decade ago, when Lamola first auditioned. The talented singer made it to the Top 12 girls round before realising that she actually really didn’t have enough experience, as she didn’t really know what to do or “even how to sing”.[/dc]
Admitting that she “cried her eyes out” after being sent home at Bootcamp in 2007, Lamola says it was then that she realised singing was all she wanted to do.
Now 26, the South African-born singer is living in London, working as a barmaid in between gigs.
It took a couple of seconds but both Sharon Osborne and Simon Cowell quickly remembered the talented singer
Lamola goes on to say that she was sent home in 2007, after the judges didn’t feel that she was ready… and she agrees now and is back, ready and prepared to blow us all away!
The show hasn’t hit South African shores yet… but apparently Cowell was incredibly impressed with her performance (rightfully so) and gave her the nod for coming back!
