Elon and the Techno Boffins

Technology entrepreneur Elon Musk left home and South Africa at the age of 17, taking with him his backpack, a few books and a myriad imaginings. Thirty years later, he has converted those ideas into multi- billion-rand inventions. Elon has become synonymous with innovation and his net worth is reported to be more than $22 billion.

He is known, among other things, for being the co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of electric-car company Tesla. He is also the brain behind the aerospace manufacturing and space- transport services company, Space X.
