The Big Issue Winter Drive
Help us spread some winter warmth in support of this year’s Mandela Day, which is on Tuesday, 18 July. Get out your wool and needles and start knitting blankets, scarves or beanies, which will be donated to all our valued Big Issue vendors.
Each winter, our vendors brave the cold, wet and windy conditions to bring you your favourite magazine at various intersections across the city. Let’s all knit together and spread some much-needed warmth this rainy season. We would like to collect as many blankets, scarves and beanies as possible by 30 June 2017. All excess items will be donated to charities in the city.
