When entrepreneur Adam Fine launched Fives Futbol in 2010 at the age of 20, it was to uplift communities through sport in a sustainable way. Ten years later, he continues to do so and more.
Born in London to South African parents, Adam Fine moved to South Africa in 2010 for two reasons – to help people overcome some of the local social challenges, and to enjoy some better weather. “South Africa, as we all know, is soccer mad. After the 2010 FIFA World Cup, there was a gap in the market for the fastest growing version of the beautiful game. South Africa was crying out for more accessible and numerous soccer pitches,” says Adam.
