Recently, three US juries awarded multimillion-dollar verdicts to plaintiffs who asserted that glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, gave them non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a cancer of the immune system. Fin24 reports recently that consumers in America will be able to buy glyphosate-free herbicides in about a year, but this won’t be the case in South Africa.
