The Big Issue #258

  • 30 October to 24 November
We’re delighted to feature the amazing Phelelani Ndakroka, one of Zip Zap Academy’s star pupils in this month’s issue. The acrobat is proof that it’s not always how you start, but more about how you run and end your race that matters. At 22, Phelelani has performed round the world and he continues to dream big (see page 14).

Look out for the second instalment of highlights from Cape Town photographer Gerhard Pretorius’ recent visit to Uganda. Immerse youself in the Ugandan scenery with its bananas, birds and boda bodas (see page 26).

We’ve also rounded up a variety of things to see and do to help you unwind. Don’t forget to pull out our Little Issue feature and share it with your kids. We wouldn’t want your children to miss out on any of the fun.
