Fostering Childhood Excellence
The Economics and Entrepreneurship Education Programme (TEEEP), based in Khayelitsha, is an initiative aimed at empowering children for the real world.
Learners at Yomelela Public Primary School in Khayelitsha are offered weekly TEEEP aftercare classes with YMCA Cape Town volunteers. A group of Grade 5 learners is getting a chance to learn about commerce through fun activities, including running their own businesses and making financial decisions.
