When entrepreneur Frank Gormley and performing artist Denay Willie founded the Rainbow Academy in 2010, their aim was to empower young people who have talent, yet can’t afford to attend performance schools due to financial difficulties.

The academy is a registered non-profit organisation, and runs a vocational training programme in performing arts, comprising music, dance and drama to talented disadvantaged youth aged between 17 and 25. Students are placed into one-year music or musical theatre training programmes with exams and work opportunities.
